About Ida Feltersnatch

After Miss Ida was rumored to have been found having relations with the Prom Queen and the Head Cheerleader she was proudly dismissed from her all girl private school. She then found the intellectual feminists at Smith too dry so she left in search of the meaning of life. After several run-ins with the Bad Idea Bears she found her true calling when she slapped on a pair of skates, grabbed a mic, and discovered the modern day 3rd wave feminism DIY movement that is Roller Derby.

She started announcing roller derby in February 2008 for the Albany All Stars, that October she also began announcing for the Hellions of Troy. In April 2010 Ida started to rock the mic for Central New York Roller Derby and in June of that same year she started calling for the Utica Rollergirls.

She is also very honored to be the official announcer for the Capital District Men’s Roller Derby League.

Miss Ida has called over 50 bouts all over the Northeast and is a proud certified announcer by the Association of Flat Track Derby Announcers.
